Welcome to The Jet-Centric Foodie
Sharing the abundance and delights of my jet-centric foodie adventures. Exotic destinations, luxurious hotels, abundant shared meals and delicious dining experiences mixed with my own foodie recipes.
Recipes of meals shared with loved ones, produce picked from rambling gardens, all things authentic and delicious where passion and love are shared.
Distant islands reached by private jet, local markets in far flung lands, the delights, sounds, scents and most importantly the tastes that excite.
Opulent rooms, beautiful décor, deliciously prepared delicacies, fine dining and champagne all things luxurious and divine.
“With a long history in design and travel, for me the smell, taste and delights of food shared at home and in far flung locations are how the memories of life are created.”
The Jet-Centric Foodie
Set in historic old Sydney town, just a stones throw from the Sydney Harbour Bridge is a fabulous boutique hotel, Hotel Palisade. This quirky hotel is located in such an iconic part of Sydney with killer harbour views.
Whitsundays FishingThere is something incredibly peaceful about standing in crystal clear water, with a warm sea breeze cooling your back with a fishing rod in your hand. The water becomes mesmerising as you watch carefully for movement and shadows beneath the surface. Fish and sting rays make their way past and you cast your fly to see if they will strike.
Winter is the perfect time for a winery escape, for vineyards and open fires and hearty meals cooked by food artisans and slowly sipping a good red wine, as toes are warmed.
An escape to the Barossa Valley is a wonderful winter weekend away.
Nothing quite prepares you for the exhilaration of take-off in a super powerful, private jet. The engine roars into life and the pilot accelerates for lift off. Climbing at over 300 kilometers an hour, we are soaring high above Brisbane before we catch our breath.
Wood Fired Pizza
There is so much pleasure to be had when cooking your own hand made pizzas in a wonderful wood fired oven. Cooking with fire is such an organic and almost primal way to cook, the smoke enhancing the flavours, the wood and the fire are so interactive.
